Concerto is a Bordeaux-style blend made from grapes sourced from the rolling hills of Paso Robles. Aging in French and American oak barrels highlights concentrated flavors of cherry and black current. Abundant soft tannins contribute to the long satisfying finish.
Cherries and dried cranberries framed by subtle hints of tobacco, mint and leather. Rich flavors of black cherry and tea are surrounded by firm tannins in the mid palate and lead to a long satisfying finish.Pair with marinated skirt steak, or wild mushroom risotto.
The 2012 vintage began as normal with cold winter months followed by a warm spring. The summer months were hot with just enough cool spikes to allow for extended hang time thus producing grapes of utmost maturity, outstanding quality, and rich concentrated flavors.
Our grapes are sourced from our vineyards on California’s beautiful central coast. Cooling breezes from the nearby Pacific Ocean contribute foggy mornings and lower summer temperatures, which produces exceptional, expressive fruit.
